Today we will engage in silent discussion!
I will ask that you read all 4 of these poems then I will break you into groups to stand in front of one of those poems. You will then write your thoughts, observations, questions, and ideas on the poem alongside other members of your class. Together we will become more enlightened and everyone will get an opportunity to share their ideas freely.
Tomorrow you will use these ideas to help write your own explication of one of the poems.
