Tuesday 1/27

Today we wrote a note to ourselves regarding what we want to remember about projects, about partnerships and about who we are as learners so when we begin a new project next quarter, we will be reminded of both our strengths and our weakenesses. THis was done as a google doc and named project thoughts. We also printed out powerschool grades so if there were questions, we could address them well before the end of the week.

Important--Essay grades below 85 can be rewritten and turned in for a new grade, however, this must be done by the end of the day on Thursday--no late work will be accepted after Thursday.

HW: Read/log/post it 150 minutes due on Monday. No late logs will be accepted.

Wednesday 1/14

We analyzed storyboards today to make sure the story told is logical and does not jump around too quickly.  We then worked on making sure history is included  and vocabulary words too.  We did this by working through the storyboard and identifying HC: for each frame and V: for each frame.  Students spent a large portion of the class working on this.  Some who finished began working on a rough rough draft of their song--All students need to complete a rough draft of at least two stanzas for tomorrow.

Tuesday 1/13

Today we checked student's homework of annotating articles and filling in "big  historical box"--if you were absent-be sure to show us that. We then moved into a lesson about point of view and students filled out this worksheet in order to make sure they had considered all the different angles from which to tell the story.
Our next move was to introduce the storyboard and explain how it worked-students were then given time to craft their storyboards.

HW: Storyboards due tomorrow
