Today you will fill out an SOC
You will read 10 minutes
You will find pictures for our slideshow. Please follow the workflow below:


  • create google doc in your Eng folder call it CR scrap paper
  • open our warehouse of ideas
  • choose an idea to research
  • search in the places listed below for an ICONIC picture of that topic. copy the image URL address (be sure you are on the image not the thumbnail) 
  • insert the image on your google doc (don't just drag and drop)
  • Read about the image you have selected
  • create your own caption including who, what, where and when (size 14) on your scrap paper
  • show me-I'll tell you to print the image and hang it on the wall
  • add image and caption to the slideshow

10 minutes to read (SOC tomorrow)

Next we will generate a list of ideas that relate to the Civil Rights Movement. We will begin in the textbook then move on to the internet.

All ideas should be placed on this document in the correct category. Try not to duplicate ideas.

Our purpose is to build a warehouse of resources for students as they move through the final Clarklisto Project.

We will talk about the components of a book review. What do you want to know when you click on that review?
We will check out recommendations from Class of 2021 and Class of 2020. we will compare and contrast them as my rules changed each year.
Then you will talk with each other about books you have read this year in order to prepare to write a book review.
