- Today we will focus on re-reading the story in order to determine which parts need to be left in during our retell and which parts can be left out. Use highlighters to help organize.--This is meant to be thoughtful discussion.
- Next students will be asked to create a storyboard which maps out their story.
- Next students will create a map that shows at least 8 researchable stories within the stories. See here for example.

IF YOU WERE ABSENT OR IN THE AFTERNOON BLOCK: Please complete step 1 and step 3--you will then compare your ideas with your partner tomorrow to bring it all together in a storyboard. Failure to complete these steps will put you at an extreme disadvantage.
