In Reflections section of Reader's notebook write the name of one well-developed character in your IR book. Create a list of 5 adjectives that may describe him/her
Read for 15 minutes (post its should track character)
Flip back to your adjectives--choose one or come up with a new one and list 3 scenes/events from your book that support it (sort through your post its)
Write LW #9 and follow these directions for it. We will begin this in class and you will finish it for HW.
Next we will read Eleven by Sandra Cisneros. The first read will be for understanding so annotations will reflect questions and reactions.
Next you will work in groups to create a plot diagram of the story--your group will submit ideas to me on this document. (make copy and share with me)
Next as an individual you will highlight parts of the story you think are integral to understanding the story--that is to say choose a section of the story you think would be worthy of discussion. Highlight this section and write your initial thoughts about it in the margin.
