Today we will meet in the library.
LW# 8 should be turned in by anyone who did not turn it in yesterday.
The first 15 minutes will be spent further investigating books about WWII. You will be required to find and look through the 2-3 books you have listed on your worksheet. Read the backs, look at the font, the page layout and read a page of the writing to see which one is the best fit for you. If you can not find the book you have written down, look around at the books Ms.Patenaude has pulled or through my books. The point is for you to find a book that really is a good fit.
Once you have found a book, you will be asked to sit and read that book. While reading the first part of the book, pay attention to the setting, the where AND the when. Your post its should mark any indicators of setting. Additionally, you should be marking any historical questions you have, or connections to history.
