Today we covered D-day. We did this by watching a clip from special features of Saving Private Ryan. We then read a first hand account of the day provided by Frank Walk. We noted obstacles faced and then watched a 24 minute clip of the first wave of soldiers storming the beach in Saving Private Ryan.
Students handed in organizers, notes and we checked the map activity for a grade. If you were absent, be sure to turn these in.
