Tuesday 5/28

Today we logged into PS in order to double check grades. Students were encouraged to take inventory of what has/has not been turned in in an effort to ensure a strong showing at the end of the year.  A reflection sheet was completed and discussion surrounding the project ensued.  There is no homework tonight unless a student has work to make up.

Friday 5/17

Today is the day students elaborate on the connections between their IR books and what we have studied in class. Both halves of the block will be devoted to this task. No homework for the weekend.

Thursday, May 16, 2013

Wednesday and Thursday 5/15 and 5/16

We covered the Holocaust in class on both days.  We read excerpts from Elie Wiesel's Night and watched clips from Century, Schindler's list and Band of Brothers.  Students whose topic was Holocaust gave presentations as a means of an overview of this very dark time in history.
HW: Blog response tonight--This one must be a minimum of 10 sentences.
Also read your IR books and bring them to class tomorrow for our ELA activity.
